Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow in Golden Up!
This little gem was $2.99 from Ulta and a bit of a risk buy. I simply loved the colour but didn't know anything about the quality of the product, so just risked it. And well. It was worth the risk (even if it was super cheap to begin with!).
As you can see I stuck my finger in it as soon as I was out of the shop to see what it was like, and only realise after that I would want to photograph it haha!
The colour is a beautiful shimmery vanilla in my eyes and is called Golden Up! I like to use it to bright up my eye shadow looks with a pop of shimmer and glimmer, ohhh yeaaahh!
See you soon!

Body shop face masks
So on venturing to the Body Shop awhile ago, with the aim to fuel my facemasks addiction, I simply couldn't choose so went for a selection of these little mask sachets! Best idea ever. You know what I'm like with samples I love trying things out without having to comit to a full sized product that I might not like!
The seaweed clarifying clay mask was deep cleansing, I admit that I have tried better but it did what it said on the tin which is always good!
The vitamin E mask was lovely, it felt like my skin was refreshed after using this! And squeaky clean so I could then whack on lots of moisturiser and feel pampered!
Finally onto the tea tree mask, I liked the way it left my skin feeling but there's something about the tea tree scent which reminds me of anti nit products from primary school and it just not something that floats my boat.
Overall it's a bit of a mixed bag but I loved trying them all,I actually have just purchased the avocado face mask and thermal facemasks too so watch this space...

May favourites!
So this year is truly flying by, and May was a month of huge amount of beauty and skincare finds in America. And a lot of products have become firm favourites that I now reach to everyday or at least agonise over which to use... Dramatic, I know! Haha! So let's get cracking...
So let's start with this amazing foundation from Tarte, it says it is full coverage so the smallest amount goes such a long way and the colour is perfect, it seems to just blend in with my skin. And oddly enough when you first put it on you think you've over done it and that it looks too much... Yet give it time and it somehow blends into your skin making you have a flawless finish. (I many have got the concealer too which is also amazing!
Now on to the cheeks. I may have gone rather over board with my blush and bronzer purchases but it was simply because I didn't really have much choice before. The two that I have been reaching for the most are very summery shades and these are Hourglass's Luminous Flush and Josie Maran's Poppy Paradise. Although completely different in texture both leave a bright and radiant pop of colour to my cheeks and go really well with a neutral smokey eye and a neutral lip.
Now for my Mac purchase, I have been lusting after this eye shadow for over a year now, see I do have some restraint ;), and in the airport with it being in dollars and tax free it was just rude not to
finally get All That Glitters. Now the only way I can think to describe this was said by one of my
favourites Viviannadoesmakeup, that girl is so witty and down to earth, she said that this is the perfect one sweep colour. And I totally agree, no hassle, no blending, one swipe and go. I even just use my fingers! If you are gonna get one eye shadow from Mac and like shimmers. Get this.
The dual lipsticks are from Bite and were one of my best finds that I had no intension of buying! One has two neutral colours and as you can see the other has a shocking pink and a in your face violet. All colours are lovely and not surprisingly the neutral two get the most wear as they are hassle free. One thing I do want to add is that the formula of these is fabulous, and so much better than expected!
Finally my two non beauty faves, a lush leach smelling candle from Bath and Body Works that I have now saved for special occasions as it's too good to waste! And I know I won't be able to get another any time soon! And of course my gorgeous necklace that is Nicole and I got it in J C Penneys, it goes with everything and quite simply I can't seem to stop wearing it!
Thank you as always for reading and it lovely to be back! Hole that you're all well and speak to you soon!
So let's start with skincare, it only seems logical...
First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream has been a life saver this month. My skin has been playing up to no end, and this beauty can be used on the face as well as the body. It has been great for soothing sunburn, bringing radiance to my face and calming sore dry skin amongst other things!
My second skincare new love is Origins GinZing refreshing eye cream to brighten and depuff. Normally I find that eye creams that promise similar depuff but don't brighten, now this baby does both! Win! It also is salmon coloured to counteract under eye circles, which I also think it does. This is now a holy grail, it makes such a difference to the early mornings! Oh and the texture is silky smooth and light as air, just a dream to put on (ohhh and try it straight out of the fridge!).
