New discoveries; Face makeup and skincare products (and an old favourite)

Admittedly this is only a small section of some of the new skincare and beauty products I have to try out but I'm taking it slowly and gauging whether I actually like each one and simply enjoying using them!

For skincare I have rekindled my on and off love with Estée Lauder's DayWear collection and their moisturisers are what's hitting the spot currently! I just love the fresh cucumber scent! The standard moisturiser is for normal to combo skin and is what I use very night at the moment! And their beautiful DayWear Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Sheer Tint Release Moisturiser is a lovely new find. It has little beads in it that when massaged into your skin pop and release a small amount of colour. Now don't be scared to me, one of the fairest skin tones it adds a lovely healthly glow type of tint to my face. Which is utterly perfect for when I have been self tanning!

Now for powders. My two current obessions are Hourglass's Abinent lighting powder in Dim Light and Nars's Laguna bronzer. The Hourglass powder is a perfect match to my skin colour, therefore I use it either as an all over powder or as a highlighter (which is more often since it's so hot at the moment). It gives a radiant glow to my skin and also works amazingly to set my concealer, better than any other powder I have tried. And as for Laguna. Now I see why everyone raved about it. It's just such a lovely natural bronzer. No orange to be seen which is always what I am looking for in life. Haha.

Thank you for having a little read!

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara in Black

Now this was one of my purchases whilst in the USA on the recommendation of the beautiful Tati, otherwise known as GlamLifeGuru on YouTube. She spoke so highly of this I couldn't not try it, and I cracked it open as soon as I got it!

I love this, it's got a lovely brush which is, in my eyes, a fatter version if the benefits they're real brush which is so far my holy grail mascara. I love that it costs the lashes which just enough product and also holds a curl all day, which is very important to me!

So if you live in the States or are taking a trip there I really recommend giving this a go! Especially at a drugstore price of about 10 bucks!

Body Shop's Honeymania fabulousness!

These two products are blimming lovely, if not simply for their gorgeous smell then for their nourishing properties. These two are a lovely pair, if I'm honest I now what to try the shower gel, lip butter and anything else I can get my hands on in this sent (I already have the perfume!). ...oops?!?

Body scrub is £12 and I think the body butter is £10-12.

So the body scrub is labeled as creamy yet cleansing and it is, I like this for an everyday scrub. Especially in this hot weather I like to feel really clean. Although I find that this scrub isn't quite enough for a pre tanning body scrub, I just feel it's not abrasive enough, which is something I thought I wouldn't ever say.

However the body butter lives up to all of the body shops previous offerings and delivers a thick luxurious butter that smells amazing. Ah yes that reminds me that I haven't actually described the smell which was the whole reason I brought this stuff.... It's like a floral, honey mix that isn't too sweet or overly flowery and granny-ish!

Hope that this makes you want to go any give this a test in store, because seriously is worth doing! I'm addicted to it and I'm half way through them both already! Eek!

Thanks for reading!

Tarte's base beauties; The foundation everyone should try.

I don't think it's going too far to say that these beauties have completely changed my view on foundations and concealers. So let's do this...

Firstly Tarte's Amazonian clay 12 hour full coverage foundation is the most long lasting foundation I have ever used, I have mine in the shade Ivory. Now it does state to be long wear makeup and my word it is, it lasts a 14 hour shift (not perfectly but I can't expect that in anything!) and is importantly oil free and has a SPF 15. When I first got this shade I was worried about the colour not matching as always seems to be my issue with base products, but I has pleasantly surprised that when applied with a  brush or my fingers it seemed to blend perfectly into my skin.

Tarte's maracuja creaseless concealer in fair is amazing. It is so thick yet creamy that you only need the smallest amount which is fab for the money and it claims to be full coverage, creaseless and waterproof. I do agree with these, although I can't really vouch for the waterproof bit, does rain count? I love this as it quite simply does the job and fantastically and it is pink toned , therefore matches my skin even better that any other all purpose concealer I've tired!

Quite simply I now have a problem of loving products that you can't get your hands on in the UK otherwise than on QVC but that is a limited line. Bugger. Just going to have to order online from Sephora... Mwahaha!
