My Travel Makeup Bag

My travel makeup bag is from Cath Kidston and I've had it for about 4 years now! So worth the investment and since then my obsession with their floral patterns has exploded!!! I also use a real techniques brush holder that came with one of their kits to protect my brushes.

Let's start with the face. On this trip I chose to take my trusty Porefessional primer from Benefit for my nose and under eyes (I'm running low) and Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer for the rest of my face. Also my Rimmel's Wake me up foundation (I have done a separate review on this if you want to know more) and concealers in the forms of Benefits Boi-ing and Collections Lasting Perfection Concealer in 1 Fair and 2 light.

Firstly I've got Benefits Instant Brow pencil in light. I always hard to know what to take for my eyes when going away, as I love mixing it up and experimenting when I'm off work! This time I've gone for Urban Decays Naked 2 palette combined with the Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion in Sin. As well as Mac's Sketch single eyeshadow, Benefits Bad Gal Waterproof eye liner, Urban Decay's 24 hour eye liner in 1999, Rimmel's Scandleyes waterproof pencil in nude and finally for that winged liner Collections Extreme felt tip liner in Black.

For mascara I have to take my favourite They're Real from Benefit, and I also have a mini Estée Lauder  mascara I got in a kit which is good for a thickening second coat when I have the time!
For powder I've gone for my bargain product, Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder in Peach  Glow. For bronzer I went with Estée Lauder's Bronze Goddess in Light, I combine this with either Benefits Dandelion blush or The Body Shops Shimmer Block in 04 Coreal (full review coming soon!).

My choice for lip products is a mix of neutral and dark fushia I've gone for Urban Decays Revolution lipstick in Naked and Venom as well as the Naked Lipglosses in Beso and Nooner. Oh and not to forget my trusty Lipocote to help keep my lippy on!

For tools I take an eyelash curler and the Real Techniques Buffing and Contour brushes, a random brush and bronzer brush and a selection of liner, flat and fluffy brushes from Topshop and TK MAXX. Although on this trip I also picked up the Real Techniques Powder and Blush brushes that I'm now in love with (full review coming soon).

As always thank you if you've come and had a look! I always enjoy reading posts like this so hopefully you do too!
