Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation
Rimmel's Match perfection foundation has been in my sights for a long time after hearing so many of my YouTube and blogger faves talking about it, and when finally I picked it up as Superdrug were having a fab 2 for £9 deal on all Rimmel London products. Bargin! These foundations are normally £6.99 each. I picked up the colours 010 Light Porcelain and 100 Ivory as I think I might be between colours, if not then this should take me through summer tanning too. Cause let's be honest I'm probably not going to tan much as I will be in a ward the whole time doing my management placement! Gotta I brace the pale side of life right now haha.
Anyway, Rimmel have labeled this formula to be 'a light reflecting radiance foundation' and gives the claim that it lasts all day. Well I can say that after trialling this on my 14.5 hour shifts it does last allday and actually is my perfect foundation of the moment (I test how much is left by how much I get off on my cotton pads or face wipes at the end of the day). It's a perfect colour, easy to blend with either fingers, my Real Techniques Buffing brush or the Real Techniques Sponge. But my fave way is with the brush. Mess free and easy peasy!
Overally this foundation stands up to many of the high end foundations in my eyes and it kind of a dupe for my fave high end foundation my Benefit (review coming soon). I would utterly recommend it for all skin types, as it's great for my oily combo and doesn't break me out, yet I also recommended it to my dry skinned friend and it works perfect for her too! And fab all rounder :)!
Until next time!
