Rimmel's Stay Matte Foundation

Now I have seen loads of mixed reviews of this on other peoples blogs and YouTube videos, but here is my honest opinion. The Rimmel's Stay Matte liquid mousse foundation, £ from boots, claims to be lightweight, with shine control and natural looking. My greasy skinned self was rather excited to try this as it made big promises, all that we're very me. And over the past three weeks I have been playing with this product to get a clear conclusion.

Unfortunately, at first I found that this clung to any dry patches I had on my skin, and caked up around my nose and forehead. So I intensely moisturised my face for a few days then tired again, no dry patches but it still caked up. So I decided to try to mix it with my favourite foundation of the moment Rimmel's Wake Me Up, this make it work a lot better but it still creased up.

So overall I was very disappointed in this foundation and the claims it gave. I'm hoping to try again with it in the summer as I think it might work better when my skin is oiler, or with a moisturiser  to  make a tinted moisturiser. Anyway we shall see.
