Now as I've send before that time of month when all of the favourites posts come out is my most looked forward to by far! It gives me massive urges to go shopping though, which is naughty but normally still happened!
Okay so let's get into it, I narrowed down my favourites to mostly beauty and skincare with a little extra thrown in there as I've been using it so much this month, therefore in my eyes it qualifies.
Let's start off with the how much I'm loving Urban Decays ultra fine loose powder, I have it in the shade light, no surprise there, and it's so nice to wear as it literally feels like you aren't wearing it! I use my Real Techniques Powder brush with it as it's big and soft so it doesn't make the powder go on too heavy or make me look cakey? I've also been loving the Real Technquies Blusher brush for similar reasons, it does the job better (and importantly unstreakily) than any other brush I've used for blusher! My last make up fave is Loreal Paris's Lumi Magiquie Hightlighting Concealer with I have previously written a raving post about. I love it, especially now I understand how to use it, and that itnt to be used like a normal conceal, more like hand in hand with one. But it's an extra step I'm very willing to add as it gives me that healthily glow I've been missing all winter!
My two skincare favourites are both from the body shop's camomile range, one being there eye make up remover, £8.00. And the other in the form of my very first cleansing balm, £12.00.
The make up remover does what it says on the tin and most importantly doesn't hurt my eyes! I wouldn't spend that much on it again (I got the whole camomile range for a cheap deal). Now I decided to try a cleansing balm as I finally thought I need to move away from wipes and pulling my skin around. But this cleansing balm situation was really scary to me as I have oily combo skin, so the idea of putting something greasy on my face was hellova scary! But damn. It worked out in my favour and I've had no breakouts from it at all! It's still slightly early doors as I'm not using it every single night currently, but I'm throroughly enjoying it.
Lastly is my fabulous Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. I bloody love this. One of the best products I've ever brought! I use it on my lips normally as a super powered lip balm. It just does the job and really well! And my non- beauty related fave this month is my life saving Juice Cube which is a portable phone charger that you charge up at the mains, I got mine for Christmas off my parents and it's one of the most useful prezzies ever!
Well that's it for now, cannot believe how fast this year is going! But it's all going the right way if you ask me! Thanks for having a look!
